About Us


inLight media was founded in 2007 by Patrick Carne and Tony Milne to cover a gap of well designed and quality built websites in the middle market. After working for Australia's largest web development companies, Patrick and Tony began to notice an expanding division between large corporate-funded sites and small to medium sized enterprises.

They believe in creating high quality, custom designed websites, whilst placing a strong emphasis on a positive user experience and accessibility. Their combined skills and experience, as well as a shared passion and enthusiasm for what they do is what makes inLight such an exciting venture.

inLight focuses on two main service groups: client web site development and online application development. Please see our services page for a detailed description of what we do.




  • Patrick Carne

    Patrick Carne


    Patrick has over 8 years Web experience, ranging from front end design and online strategy through to application development and business consulting.

    Prior to founding inLight media, Patrick worked for 3 years within Deloitte's online strategy, design and development group; Eclipse. As the largest end-to-end web development group in Australia, they serve clients such as Telstra, Holden and the Australian government: all of which Patrick played an active role in.

    With a Bachelors Degree in Business Systems, Patrick is the lead strategic consultant, and will work with you to ensure the success of your project.

  • Tony Milne

    Tony Milne


    With over 7 years online development experience, Tony has focused his skills in both front and back-end software engineering.

    Prior to founding inLight media, Tony also worked for Eclipse as web developer, working on clients such as Centro, Diners Club, Telstra, TAC and Sydney Opera House. He has also worked as a developer for NAB (National Australia Bank) and Sensis.

    With a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Tony is the lead developer, and has the technical experience to make your online vision a reality. Tony is competent in most web development languages including: Java; .Net (C#); PHP; SQL; HTML; CSS; Javascript and XML.

  • Simon Browne

    Simon Browne


    With a background in information technology, Simon has taken a creative path in multimedia and web design.

    Prior to working with Inlight Media, Simon maintained a role as the systems supervisor for Linnergy Pty Ltd. In this role he has overseen the companies technology, and been responsible for the current upgrade of their web site. Simon is currently studying a course in Multimedia and Design.
