Challenge
Cancer Council Victoria’s (CCV) Quit program had a fragmented user experience created by over 25 disconnected websites and tools. Multiple touch points, manual workflows and legacy technology limited agility, impacted costs and made unified content sharing difficult.
Solution
We redesigned Quit’s digital ecosystem to deliver a seamless, intuitive user experience tailored to CCV’s most critical audiences.
- Redesigned information architecture
We recreated the user journey with new navigation designed to support individuals at every stage of their quitting journey. - Dual track approach
By defining components early at wireframe stage, we enabled design and development to progress simultaneously, reducing time to market. - Updated, relevant content
Redesigned tools and updated information better reflect current nicotine product trends, including vaping and dual-use, ensuring accuracy and relevance. - Accessible information
Flexible templates were created to differentiate content types, including articles, research pieces and personal stories, making content creation easier for internal teams and informing an intuitive user experience. - Playful, approachable design
A bright, colourful and engaging design was introduced to move away from a traditional government feel and better connect with younger audiences.
Impact
Using a dual track delivery approach, the team moved from prototype to MVP in just six months, meeting tight deadlines while completely redesigning the site’s information architecture and user journey.
