Scaling orders 750% through a unified platform

We partnered with Nando’s Australia to launch a fast, secure and scalable digital platform, delivering a seamless online ordering experience while giving their team flexible content management tools. This led to a 750% increase in online orders and 370,000 app downloads.

Challenge

Nando's Australia needed a digital platform that could adapt quickly to changing customer expectations while supporting long-term growth. Their existing white-label solution was holding them back. It restricted their ability innovate, offered no control over the conversion flow and made it difficult to express their distinctive brand personality. They were also dependent on a vendor roadmap that didn't match their priorities.

As a result, important features such as advanced loyalty integration, personalisation and group ordering couldn't be implemented. Without these, Nando's was unable to differentiate their digital experience or respond quickly to new market opportunities.

Solution

We delivered a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to get to market quickly, then continued to refine and evolve the platform over time.

  • Unified web and mobile experience
Built with React and React Native, the platform delivers a seamless web and mobile experience.
  • Efficient data management
GraphQL integration creates streamlined data management from multiple sources, ensuring fast and reliable performance.
  • Flexible content updates
Craft headless CMS makes content updates easy and maintains brand consistency.
  • Secure and scalable foundation
Hosting on AWS provides strong security and room to grow, while integrations with Adyen for payments and Redcat for menu management make the platform reliable and easy to manage.
